Season’s Greetings
From Everyone on the Staff of
The Total Package …

Dear Business-Builder,

You are very special to us.  And we’d like to each take a moment and personally wish you a very Merry Christmas and the happiest, joyous most prosperous New Year – ever!

Clayton Makepeace
Founder and President

I love Christmas because it gives me the opportunity to demonstrate the full  depth, breadth and intensity of the love I feel for all the important people in my life – and to do so in a tangible way.

Unfortunately, these grand demonstrations of the love I have for my family and staff, have pretty much depleted the cash allotted for this holiday — so you’re getting this sentiment instead.

Happy Christmas,

Wendy Makepeace
General Manager

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all our Total Package readers.

May this holiday season shines brightly on you and your family.

I just want to say how much I really appreciate our readers.  I’ve never known so many people who were so dedicated to the pursuit of their own success and destiny.

It’s truly uplifting to see our capitalist system persevering!  Keep your questions and comments coming … we’re always looking for new ideas on how to help you be the best you can be.  So, let us know what we can do for you …

Here’s to next year being the best!

I want to take this opportunity to say how glad I am to have met so many of the wonderful Total Package subscribers through our support-line and e-mails.  I am truly blessed to work daily with such genuinely nice people as our subscribers and customers.  Thanks to all of you and warmest Holiday wishes.

Deanna Blanchard
Senior Copywriter

A standard Christmas greeting from me?  Never!  I came up with something for you that would be worthy of appearing on a Hallmark card:

Colorfully-wrapped presents piled high under the Christmas tree … carolers’ voices ringing in the cold winter air … reindeer tracks in the snow … and the wonder of that baby in the manger.  May your Christmas and holiday season be pure magic – and very merry!

Len Bailey

There’s something about this time of year that brings out the best in people.

Whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza … or simply dance naked in the snow on Winter Solstice … there’s a spirit of fellowship that just brings people together. And the year comes to a close, we can’t help but take stock of the blessings in our life and ponder what the new year will bring.

So what blessings am I thankful for this year?

Well, first and foremost my beautiful wife and our lovely daughter. Plus our older children who have left the nest and are making their own way in the world. They truly are my favorite people in the world — and the joy that keeps me going even in the toughest of times.

I’m also extremely blessed to work with such a talented, funny, and hardworking cast of characters every day. So Clayton, Wendy, Martha, Jill, Deanna, Pete, Forrest, Graham, Jackie, Paul, John, Becca, and Tim — thank you. I love my job, and it wouldn’t be the same without you.

Lastly, I’m thankful for YOU for being part of The Total Package family. We’ve come a long way in 2009. And together, we’re going to make 2010 your best year ever!

John Keever

It has been my pleasure to be a part of the team that brings you The Total Package everyday.   I couldn’t ask for a better group of colleagues.  And looking ahead to 2010 I am thrilled – just knowing your best days with us are ahead of you.

I’m deeply thankful and appreciative to Wendy and Clayton for the opportunity to fulfill a dream of mine of writing copy professionally.  My friends in Florida are constantly asking me how my "dream job" is going.  And I have the privilege of reporting that I’m very happy and it’s everything I thought it would be.

Merry Christmas EVERYONE and have a happy and prosperous New Year!

Paul Maxey

I have many things to be thankful for as we welcome the new year, but mostly I’m thankful for people who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. I’m finally living my dream, which just goes to show you really can accomplish anything you set your mind to if you work hard enough and stay the course.

Merry Christmas to my incredible colleagues and to all our cherished subscribers. Stay true to yourself and stay plugged in, so we can help you achieve all your dreams in 2010!

Contributing Editor,

Every bustling holiday season I like to keep in mind the words of the English author Taylor Caldwell who said, “This is the message of Christmas: We are never alone.”

True.  By keeping our hearts and minds open, we are never alone during our celebrations this time of year – nor will we be alone at any of our moments of joy or sorrow in the year to come.

Jill Anderson
Project Coordinator

Wow, you blink and Christmas is here again.  Myself … I have been blessed to be a part of such a Wonderful Team or let me really say a Wonderful Family.  Everyone in the office has become a part of my family one way or another.  Clayton and Wendy are such humble people that truly believe in giving people the tools they need to succeed.  I feel blessed to be a part of the success this year at The Total Package. Thank you, Clayton and Wendy for all that you both do.

I am blessed to have a wonderful husband and four healthy, beautiful children.  Thank you to each of them for all the wonderful moments we spend together. To my husband:  Thank you for always being my rock.  I Love You.

From our Family here at The Total Package we hope everyone has a Blessed Christmas and Happy Safe New Year.

The past year has been a blast working with “the Redhead” and the “boss man”.  Trust me – they are as great in person as you read in this
Newsletter.  We have some exciting plans for next year, so I know you will not want to miss an issue!  You never know what kind of great offer,
Idea or benefit you will receive.

On a more personal note – this time of year makes us reflect on the things most dear to us; our ability to live in the most wonderful county in the world – to enjoy freedoms that others do not – our ability to worship in the religion of our choice – to live in the pursuit of health, happiness and personal wealth – the rights
to protect our families and our country from harm and so many other long fought freedoms given us by our Founding Fathers and the men and women
who have given all to preserve us.

I am grateful for the support from my husband and my three sons and my extended family . And, I am grateful to you our readers – our outer circle of family – for your continued readership and who bring enjoyment to our days here at The Total Package.

May you take the time this season to stop and reflect on your fellow man – volunteer or support your local charity – help a needy family – or even give blood.
Trust me, this gift of yourself will give you the best feeling and perspective to carry into the New Year.  It will benefit you, your family and your business.

As we go into the New Year, may you take the joyous holiday season with you – to share throughout the year.

Pete Schissel
Director of Web Services

Here’s hoping you have a wonderful Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year!  Thanks to all our subscribers for your continued support.  And looking ahead to the New Year I see many great things in store for you – just around the corner.

Thanks also to the team that makes it all possible here at The Total Package.  I’m referring of course, to the talented group here in the “web-hole” that works hard everyday lining up the little “ones and zeros” … and to our writers and editors that create the outstanding business-building content you get to enjoy on a daily basis.  And finally, to Wendy and Clayton, who have made working for them an absolute delight.  Merry Christmas!

Graphic Designer

Here’s wishing all of our TTP, ResponseInk and readers a joyous, bright and happy holiday season! As we join with our families, friends and loved ones in age-old traditions of trying to find a parking spot at the mall and fruit cake surprise, let us all remember this  … Christmas is the one time of year there’s no excuse not to be a child!

Also, a special holiday ‘thank you’ to the men and women serving/have served in our armed forces for helping keep us free and allowing us to feel warm and safe with the ones we love.

Season’s Greetings!

Graham Livengood
Web Designer

I would like to wish all of our Total Package readers a very Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Spiffy Kwanzaa, Awesome Solstice, and a Rad Festivus. That’s everyone, right?

More than that, I hope that everyone did their part for the American economy and spent lots of money on presents.

Forrest Livengood
Web Designer

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope all of your Christmas wishes come true… unless your Christmas wish was for a giant robot you could use to smash cities while firing laser cannons and stuff. But otherwise, I hope most of your Christmas wishes come true.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the staff at The Total Package.  Now it’s your turn … go ahead and leave your OWN Christmas greeting and maybe share a little of what you’re thankful for this year – and what you’re looking ahead to in 2010!

Yours for Bigger Winners, More Often,

  1. Clarke Echols (Resident scientist and rabble-rouser) says:

    I feel very blessed.

Life wouldn’t be what it is without my very patient and enduring wife, our nine successful children, 14 going on 15 grandkids, and one great-granddaughter.

I’m especially appreciative of the privilege to encounter so many great professionals who have come into my life since I answered a WorldNetDaily ad from AWAI — so many heroes.

Clayton is a class act. Bob Bly and Daniel Levis too — friends I treasure and appreciate. Martha, Jackie, and the folks at AWAI. You all are such a credit to the profession.

Your integrity. Your caring for others. Life gets tough at times for each of us. But much strength comes from having others to fall back on when the going gets difficult, as it always will.

And I’m thankful for life’s adversities. For it is through them that we can learn some of the greatest truths life has to offer — and they can be learned no other way.

2010 has already started with a new opportunity, and I’m looking forward to many more.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS! everybody.

  2. Kendra says:

Today is a day for family and memories and cooking and, of course, eating. As I received the 2-volume boxed set Mastering the Art of French Cooking, I’m trying to decide what to cook first.

Our Website and following grew dramatically in 2009. We look forward to the New Year with great excitement as we have a new writing book coming out. Our memoir writing prompts and KitchenScraps have become particularly popular with readers.

I look forward to the daily posts from Clayton and Wendy. They provide ideas, inspiration and added stimulation to succeed online. Thank you. Look forward to following you in 2010.

    Happy New Year.

  3. When I read Clayton’s card, it expressed my sentiments exactly, and I thought the post ended there, however, the rest of the staff posted wonderful sentiments as well.

My only Christmas wish is that I do right by my family, and pray that 2010 is better for all of us. Thanks for the space.

    Merry Christmas!!!

  4. Ruth says:

    Merry Christmas!!

Too mmany things to be thankful for, and hard to narrow down. But for me, I’m grateful for selling my first whack at copywriting. I don’t mean I haven’t tried a million times, but this is the very first that brought bucks. So I danced, yelled, put on Bluesville, and danced some more. This year will be different…I feel it’s right around the corner, more of the same! Shed the old doubt, tackle the unknown, and go after it!
I am grateful for my three sons, healthy and strong, and own their own, making far more geetus than I ever saw! Grateful for my health, my God, a warm bed, and a brain buzzing with ideas, poetry and a Rainbow church I dearly love. God loves you all. (me too) Thanks for believing in me!

  5. Merry Christmas My Friends -

Grateful for each and every one of you -

Grateful for each and every word you write -

Grateful for each comment written -

Grateful for each idea I receive and get on my own -

Grateful for every opportunity that comes my way -

Grateful for being able to provide opportunities to others -

Grateful for what has been, and for what is ahead -

    Grateful indeed……….

  6. It’s a time to be thankful, and I am thankful for the wisdom that all of you impart on the Total Package. I feel like reading TTP has made me a smarter writer and marketer–and I’ve even enjoyed my occasional foray into “enemy territory” writing a few Unrepentant Progressive pieces for newsblarg. Good think I don’t think all my friends have to agree with me, because I think of several of you as friends.

  7. Barnabas Ng says:

Merry Christmas to all at The Total Package and everyone….

It has been a year of timeless…insightful…valuable posts in TTP.

  8. George says:

Santa dropped down the chimney and brought a whole lot of gifts this year with the The Total Package. Santa didn’t disappoint me for he showed me a big mine of gold packed with nuggets. I look forward to more such in the coming year.

Happy Xmas and a grand New Year!

  9. Stew Kelly says:

    Dear Clayton,

I wanted to wish you, Wendy, you family and your wonderful Staff and support, a happy Christmas.

I hope the holiday spirit of peace, love, and joy will be yours today, and everyday, throughout the year.

    Best regards,
