I write for an hour at least five mornings a week before I even get out of bed. This gets all the clutter out of my head so I can tackle the day efficiently. People rally around doers.  They just love 'em. This past Sunday we rented a pontoon for a family fun day.  Mom, dad, pregnant sis, brother-in-law, girlfriend and me. Going under a bridge we hit a large wake, killing the engine.  Right upcurrent from a large construction project.  Mom went hysterical, dad cursed the renter, pregnant sis tried to calm them down, and brother in law asked me how to fix it. Girlfriend just went on sunning herself. I just got the hell outta there - I jumped in the intercoastal, grabbed a rope and started pulling the boat towards shore. And ya know what.  Everyone started helping.  Brother in law grabbed a oar and my Dad got out the anchor.  Seeing us at work, the womenfolk just got out of the way. In less than 5 minutes we we're on shore...disaster averted.
