I can only add that one\\\'s better half has been influential in making the sale, as it was K who brought Michael back to the Betu\\\'s store.

But, then I\\\'m sure Betu did a good sales spiel with K and only had to do a similar pitch to Michael to close it.

Upselling to a better rug though is quite masterful.

Well written, Michael; well done.</description>

		<description>Yes, an excellent article and very worth remembering. I read this on ETR some time back and enjoyed it then as well. It\'s good to remember that there are those who will spend much more. We have to look for those clues, and then offer them what they feel they are worth.

It reminds me of a conversation I had with my brother, who\'s a regional manager at Best Buy. Some time back they noticed that there was a certain group of people who wanted to pay top dollar for the best equipment. They also wanted to be waited on, instead of trying to figure it out themselves. 

They did a bit of profiling and came up with a good description of this type of person. Best Buy made some changes to one of their stores, creating a special \"high end\" room with only the best equipment. If they noticed someone who met their profile, they\'d invite that person into the special room. Best Buy dramatically increased their sales by offering high end equipment to this special group of people.</description>
