Hi Brenton, Great question. Actually, selling to executives look for a change would be no different.

You have to use lead generation ads that call them specifically out and show them you have a free resource that will help their decision process.

Make sure the ads are placed in appropriate magazines and publications that execs read.

The follow up is the same as well. Remember - no matter what level they are within an organization, they are still people. With desires. With fears. With negative self-talk.

They are no different than any other target market. There are some differences, which you have to make sure you understand before running the campaigns. But all in all - run the same process.

Carole - THANKS!

TJ - more to come :o)

David, most certainly have. Small classifieds can work exceptionally well to test approached, find hot media publications, test headlines, etc. They are a great place to start your lead generation tests. You may find some ideal publications that bring you all the leads you can handle (I have done this numerous times with clients). One good publication can keep you very busy with follow up and conversion. A definite place to get started!

Troy - great info! Have you ever tried using classified ads in niche magazines to generate leads? With ALL the problems in PPC and SEO, I'd like to learn more about display and "classified ads."

Have always admired this approach. Would love to see some real world examples and comments on local retail, restaurants, and such.

Good job!

How is the process you have defined over the past couple of weeks the same or different if what you are trying to do is ultimately targeting successful executives who want to start their own business and you are attempting to convince them to start their own coaching/training franchise costing $50K for the start up fee.

Cheers!
